Cygnet Rowing Club

Tom learnt to row with University College London at the UL boathouse in Chiswick but didn't do any regattas so managed to retain that magic novice status until the summer of 2011. He went to Bonn, Germany to row (and study a little bit) last year. Rowed with the Uni Bonn 1st VIII, won the Eurega (European Rhine Regatta) a 45km race ending in Bonn, also avoided coming last in the Koelnestadtachter (Cologne city eights competition) an event graced by the ergo-marathon world record holder and iron man champion as well as other international teams. He also came 3rd in a quad at the german university championships (at novice level).

He has been with Cygnet since 2010. Sadly not too many wins to shout about but he won at the Met with UCL and qualified for the Temple a few weeks later. Now eyes on the new season to see what happens!
