Sue and Alan's Pre-Wedding BBQ, 16 May 2004

A big thank you from everyone at Cygnet who attended Sue and Alan's pre-wedding BBQ celebration at the boathouse on Sunday 16th May. The food, wine and beer all went down a treat and what better way to solve that age old conundrum of lemon meringue or chocolate cake than to have both. For those of us drinking brown our thanks must also go to John Bull for donating a firkin of London Pride. Hick!

In 1937 this was the Samuel Samuel Cup but it's about to enter a new lease of life at Henley Womens Regatta as the Bernard Churcher Cup...

Sadly John is the last remaining member of the 1937 winning crew...
