Boathouse break in

We have had a break in at the boathouse over night (Thursday/Friday). Cash and a few small bits were taken from inside but apparently nothing much else. However, more seriously, the trailer towing vehicle was also taken. The police are looking into the matter and the boathouse captain, with assistance from other club members, is organising repairs. Emanuel School boathouse was also targeted.
It's not the first time and doubtless won't be the last but members are reminded to avoid keeping valuables at the the boathouse, were possible and to also challenge or report anyone acting suspiciously in the vicinity of the boathouse.
Most of the other Tideway clubs have been quickly notified through the power of social media.
