Fours Heads & Remembrance weekend

14th November 2021

A busy weekend at the Civil Service boathouse as we hosted crews from all over the country for both Fours and Vet Fours Heads. The weather played ball (for a change) which helped but all was calm and very well organised for the first race back after last year's wash-out.

Thanks to everyone that volunteered with admin, parking, boating, tidying-up afterwards and all the other little jobs that make these event happen. A lot of thanks were offered directly from participants too, which was much appreciated, as was the immaculate condition that visiting crews left the Meadows in.

Congratulations to our three racing crews competing in both races across the weekend - our first major head race in quite some time and great efforts all round. Chapeau to the 4- crew for the club fastest club time down the course in 21:24.7
