Permission To Boat
Before you can boat from the Civil Service Boathouse you should request permission from the boating co-ordinator:

Boating limits
Once these numbers are reached we will close our hard for boating.
Sculls: 80 crews
Pairs: 80 crews
Fours: 60 crews
Eights: 60 crews.
Boating Fees
Single Scull Events: Free
Pairs Events: Free
Fours Events: GBP10 per crew
Eights Events: GBP15 per crew
(boating fees should be paid when collecting your numbers - no boating fee, no number)
Important Stuff
Bring wellies if you don't want wet feet (and someone to take them away after you've boated).
Please boat promptly at your allotted time as there are always lots of boats to get afloat.
Always join the queue for boating with your bows facing forward.
For the bigger head races food & drink can be bought from the stalls in front of the boathouse.
Our fully licensed bar will be serving refreshing beverages after your race.
