End of Season shenanigans!

This year's End of Season Dinner took place at The Crossing in Barnes on Friday 30th August. Another good turnout – as always for the socials! – with plenty of stripes in evidence. After some fine dining and wining, the winners of our annual awards were announced thus:

Tom Clarke • G.P. Jefferies Cup, for Clubman of the year

Jordan Hunt • Wally Wheldal Cup, for Sportsmanship & Endeavour

Nathan O'Donnell • Tim Senior Cup, for Novice of the year

And new for this season: 

Senior of the Year – presented by the outgoing captain, Martin, to none other than Nick Wylie [presumably for his legendary beer quaffing skills? – Ed]. The cup itself is a genuine Cygnet Novice cup from the 1920s.

Lastly, huge thanks to the new Social Secretary, Charles Johnston, for all his efforts in organising yet another excellent End of Season Dinner. A great start to his reign on the committee.
