Off to the races

Finally, this weekend we went to our first event after almost two years - the Sunday of Peterborough Spring. It felt sooo nice to race again with great weather ideal conditions, fantastic atmosphere, ice cream ... but my goodness how long did 1 kilometre feel!

Morning races for the 4+ (Megan, Rupert, Cris, Matt B, Mustafa) and 2x (Matt G, Ross) with the double making it into the B Final and the 4+ winning the C Final.

In the afternoon we raced a 4x (Rupert, Matt G, Mustafa, Matt B) and 2 singles (Ross and Cris) and Ross won the C Final. 

In the final reckoning: two C Final wins and one boat in the B Final. No pots but a lot of fun and great be be back racing. Really great. Next stop Richmond.
