    22nd April 2019

    Dear Cygnets,

I hope everyone had a good weekend!

Unforgettable Training Camp. Good training sessions Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I hope everyone enjoyed the Sunday morning improvised team building exercise, wait until you see what I have in mind for the next camp. Apologies for the joke and my sense of humour, but you know I don't conceive of life without humour.

Now being serious. THANK YOU ALL for the remarkable behaviour Sunday morning, giving support to the Hamhaugh Island Community and later the Fire Brigade when a fire broke out in the early morning. I will let the details for the another time in the bar. Long story short, no personal damages to report, and a well deserved beer afterwards (see attached). I can only say Well Done Gentlemen!

Apart from this little incident, I hope everyone had a good time, and can take something positive (and some points to work on) towards the Regatta Season. Fantastic work and commitment all the sessions. Many thanks to Chihiro for coaching; Rupert for sorting Food (5 stars Menues, I believe I gained a few pounds instead of lose them), James for driving the trailer, Stu and Alan for coming around and help. Really sorry if am forgetting someone.

We are aiming to enter Chiswick Amateur Regatta on 4th of May as the first regatta of the year. All races and water sessions untill May have been updated in https://www.fitclub.me , please update you availability, so we can plan the best combos.
