OGM, captaincy elections & End of Season bash

This year's OGM will take place slightly later than usual, on Sunday 31st July at 12.00. The main business of the OGM is to elect the captaincy for the new season and this meeting will be followed by an End of Season event at the boathouse.
The main business of the End of Season event is an afternoon of BBQ, beer and celebrations of the seasons achievements. This is an informal event although the captain will probably make a little speech, at which you are expected to heckle. If you're really lucky the Chairman may also exercise his vocal chords, in which case just heckle a bit louder. The captain will also take the opportunity to present some awards, notably the Wally Wheldal Cup to the most improved oarsman and the J.P. Jefferies Cup to the Clubman of the year.
