Public meeting about the tidal Thames - Thursday, 25 February 2016
Cygnet Rowing Club
Our next public meeting to discuss current and future matters related to the Upper District of the
tidal Thames (Putney to Teddington) will be held at London Rowing Club, Putney on Thursday
25 February 2016.
The meeting will be chaired by our chief executive, Robin Mortimer, with chief harbour master,
David Phillips. We will also have in attendance: members of the Upper District Harbour Master's
team, including the recreational river use lead; together with planning and environment experts.
Our public meetings are open to anyone interested in the tidal Thames and our work and activities on
the river. This session focuses on the Upper District of the river; other meetings will be scheduled for matters downstream of Putney later in the year.
The meeting will start with a short presentation on current Upper District matters, followed by an
open Q&A/discussion session to address any questions you may want to ask.
Detailed arrangements for the meeting are as follows:
- Date: Thursday 25th February
- Venue:London Rowing Club, Embankment, Putney, London, SW15 1LB
- Start time: 6.30 pm; refreshments will be available from 6.00 pm
- Nearest public transport: Putney Bridge tube station, Putney mainline railway station and Thames Clipper service calling at Putney Pier
