LXXVII Deneb Captain's Log

21st April 2020

Dear Cygnets,

I hope everyone is doing well and keeping safe.

First of all Big Thank You to all during this time, from the people who are on the front line (claps, claps, claps) to the ones who are staying at home, trying to make the best of the situation. Let’s embrace these next weeks with optimism fingers crossed we will be out for Summer.

Now that we have enjoyed the first weeks of the lockdown for free let's upgrade it to premium ;).

“Lockdown Premium Package”:

We have a revamped website  https://www.cygnet-rc.org.uk/ , have a look if you haven't already. Thank you very much Neil and Simon.

Boathouse safety has also been upgraded: The Bar exit door is repaired, bars for the windows will follow and CCTV is in operation and signs are all done. Big Thank you to the Exec Team and friends: Jamie, Ali, Ben, Tom, Chris J (sorry if I am forgetting someone.)

Training: (good time to improve core and flexibility)

Please find some homework attached, (you know you always can have the Callisthenic pyramid 😉 ). Please feel free to provide photographic evidence to motivate the rest of us. I will set a virtual squad meeting for next week Tuesday 7.00 pm.

Thursday Social Zoom 8.30 pm:
Please let me know it you want to attend and I will forward the details.
