Water and Land Training well attended these weeks. As usual, please update your availability for the training sessions and races in fitclub - so we can plan best. Little reminder the cut off for outings is Sunday noon for the weekdays Wednesdays for the weekend. For self-organised outings, as previously, book your slots in the excel file.

  • Kit Window

    Author: Neil Pickford |

    13th May 2021

By popular demand a new kit window is open for those of you who are in need of some racing strip or just topping up the rowing stash. The window is open from now until next Monday 24th May when the order will be finalised. The delivery window will be early to mid July, in time for the second-half of the summer season and beyond.

Click this link to access the Cygnet Teamroom and contact Rupert for the login password (which has been emailed to the membership)

    OPEN: 11th - 24th May
    DELIVERY: Approx 6-8 weeks
    CONTACT: Rupert Bailey (social secretary)

A couple of points to note -

    • A couple of the guys have found that some of the kit can be on the snug side (kit or beer, your call on what's responsible) so if in doubt on the snug fitting kit like the all-in-one, consider the size up.
    • The Primary racing strip is the "Wave Rowing Suit" (blue primary colour), the retro "Team Rowing" AIO is the optional second strip - so if you're just getting one I'd recommend the blue to comply with racing regs.
    • There are both Men's and Women's designs by default so order carefully, unless buying for your fairer halves.
    • The Gilet and Unisex Tech Top come highly recommended and if you want to keep the coach happy, there's some high-viz in there too.

Any questions let me know, or feel free to call into the Crewroom shop on Putney embankment to try out sizing. Happy shopping team.

Iain Golder still has a few of larger sizes of the recent "Back on the Water" custom tee shirts available. Contact Iain directly if you're interested.

We also have various items of other club kit, both active and formal, 'in stock'. Click here for details and contact the Treasurer (Matt Byrne) if you fancy a bargain.
