XCVII Deneb Captain's Log

22nd May 2021

Dear Cygnets,

Hope everyone is doing well.

Last weekend (15th May) we raced a mile in an VIII+ (Hannah, Matt, Cris, Matt B, Pete, Rupert, Vasil, Tom, Jo) to support the Globalmile event for mental health charities - time (5:39). Thanks Rupert for organising.

Water and Land Training well attended these weeks. As usual, please update your availability for the training sessions and races in fitclub - so we can plan best. Little reminder the cut off for outings is Sunday noon for the weekdays Wednesdays for the weekend. For self-organised outings, as previously, book your slots in the excel file.

New light system on Hammersmith Bridge - please check this notice. Also don't forget: Navigation & Conditions ( lways worth to check)

Reminder: Don't forget to do the Pre and Post outings checks. This is the responsibility of everyone. If there is something wrong please report it to the captaincy an if it is fixable do it at the moment.

Learn to row (update)
Starting 19th of June please spread the word. We will need volunteers to sit the boats and support the sessions, keep it in mind 😉, more will follow.

As per Rupert's email Cygnet Kit Window EXTENDED- Now open until 24th May

That is everything for the moment. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out.
Have a nice Friday and a better weekend.
