24th February 2021
Dear Cygnets,
I hope everyone is doing well and safe. Looks like that little by little we see light at the end of the tunnel.
Days are starting to get longer and if everything goes well we should be on the water end of March. Here you can see the British Rowing Roadmap
We are trying to adapt the training accordingly, a squad meeting will follow early next week (more details will follow).
In the meantime Charlie's updated circuits and mobility plan can be found on the google sheets. Also he is continuing with the 1:1 sessions on Saturday (£35 per session) - if you are keen, please book your slot it in fitclub - Sessions are 40 mins
Times Slots: 9:30 -10-30 / 10:30 -11:30 / 11:30-12:30 /13:00-14:00 / 14:00-15:00
Important reminder: This Sunday Annual General Meeting via Zoom , where Club officers and committee members will be elected to the Management Committee:

From the kit man
15th January 2021
I hope this finds you all well and surviving the latest lockdown with all the land-based exercise that you need.
We've been working with our Kit Supplier Crewroom on a functional bit of kit to help with COVID requirements and keep you warm on land and eventually on the water with the offer of these Snoods / face coverings / neck warmers - personalised with CYG décor.
These can be used as a COVID face covering when out and about (and on the hard when restrictions ease) and as protection against those cruel north-easterlies this time of year. For those of you who only row for the kit, something else to add to the collection.
Cygnet branding will be available on either the high-viz or navy blue designs - if we place an order of 8+ they will run at just under £20. More details about them are here. The Cygnet-specific designs are in the attached mock up.
If you are interested, please contact me by email or via the Social Secretary Contact Form by Monday 18th January and then I will contact you direct about placing the order and confirm the final cost. This isn't a full kit window, just the chance to order one of these handy bits of kit.
