    Dear Cygnets,

    I hope everyone had a great weekend and enjoyed the Boat Race: If you are Light Blue - congratulations; if you are dark blue - good Luck for next year. Good to see old friends in the bar.

    This Week 12th -14th Training Camp. (Separate email will follow).

    Learn to Row starting the 4th May  Please spread the news with family, friends, work colleagues.

    This week Training:

    Tuesday:
    No Circuits - this week
    Erg - 1250m/750m/ 500m
    2Km R24 Pace

    Wednesday:
    Off if you are going to camp other wise Weights

    Thursday:
    2K test @24
    stretching
    Loading the trailer

    Outings this weekend - No outings this week since we are in Training Camp

    Dear Cygnets,

    I hope everyone had a great weekend!

    First of all Big Big Thank You and congratulations to all volunteers from both clubs (you know who you are). Incredibly good work both days: boating, parking, marshalling, driving launches and catering. No incidents and all crews were on the water ~10 min before racing start *claps, claps, claps* you were the heroes of the weekend.

    Racing:
    Saturday HORR: Lovely conditions for the rowing sport, sunny, warm, nice water. Congratulations to the Cygnet 8+ (Anna, Henrik, Niall, Martin, Eric, Bjarne, Mustafa, Rupert, Tom) Well done! Good solid platform. There are videos and pics for the analysis. Let's keep up the good work, looking forward to the Regatta Season. CYG 8+ Time : 22:34.9

    Sunday Vets Head: A little more windy and fresh than the day before; we had 1 Cygnet racing again (well done Martin) our friends from RG Benrath and two BBL crews. Congratulations all!

    So the Head Season - it's over, lets take a deep breath and let the Regatta Season begin. Next stop, Training Camp which is highly recommended if you want to race this Spring/Summer. More details will follow in a separate email but please, please fill in the Doodle poll by this Thursday latest (4th April). 

    Other: LTR to start - 4th May (more details will follow, but start to spread the word)

    Social:
    Thursday: As per Rupert's email Mustafa (ccd) will be cooking this week, please let him know if you are staying for dinner.

    Sunday: 15:00 (ish) The Boat Races. Be aware that Barnes Bridge and access to the club might be closed during the race.

    This week Training:

    Tuesday:
    No Circuits this week so a light erg 20mins @r20 or 30-45 min run 

    Wednesday:
    Weights and Core, warm up properly pair with someone who was there in the introduction focus on technique. Conditioning circuit and stretching

    Thursday:
    Erg 30min @r20 & Conditioning circuit and stretching

    Outings this weekend: will follow. Please update availability

    Dear Cygnets,

    I hope everyone had a good Weekend

    Good training session on the Tideway before Men's Head. Thanks to Laurent for coxing us.

    Next Stop: Saturday HORR 11:30 and Sunday Vets Head 13:30. Busy Weekend ahead us. Please come down cheer, enjoy BBL's catering and give a hand if you can. Might the force and the weather be with our crews and have a good race!! Good Luck Everyone!

    Circuits: 19:15pm in the Shed !!! Can everyone please bring a towel and a drink to each session.
    Or rrg 4k/3k/2k/1k continuous Rate 18/20/22/24 (UT1)
    Conditioning circuit and stretching

    Wednesday:

    Weights Core, warm up properly pair with someone who was there in the introduction focus on technique.

    Thursday:

    If you are racing: Outing, Meeting 6:30 OTW 6:45
    If you are not racing then the erg is 3x2km, 4' rest, R26 @ 5km splits
    Conditioning circuit and stretching

    Thursday Social:
    As per Rupert's email Amy S will be cooking this week, please let her know if you are staying for dinner.
