    Hello Cygnets!

    I hope everyone had a fantastic racing weekend. Many Thanks to all volunteers, helpers, BBL for their catering, Rupert for sorting Pizzas.

    Congratulations to all racing clubs from both clubs and also to Raphael Z. and Laurent C, for their 10 years CYG membership. Well done everyone!

    Results 4's Head:
    CYG 194 4x ( Scott, Alex, Vasil, Cris) / Time: 21:43.1
    CYG 480 4+ ( Katy, Henrik, Eric, Rupert,Tom B.) / Time: 25:06.2

    Results Vets 4's Head:
    CYG 93 (Paul R, Steve, Rhodri, Ian) / Time: 22:23

    This week Training :

    Tuesday:
    Circuits with Maxi : (Conditioning Training).Can everyone please bring a towel and a drink to each session.
    19:15pm Cavendish School, Edensor Road, Chiswick W4 2RGIf you go direct to the school be there at 19:10. If you go via the club, people will be leaving there no later than 19.00.

    (Erg 30' @ Rate 20 approx. 5k pace +6s )

    Wednesday:
    Weights Core , warm up properly pair with someone who was there in the introduction focus on technique.

    Thursday:
    Erg 30' @ Rate 20 approx. 5k pace +6s

    If you have done it ...

    2 x 30' @ R18 approx. 30' R20 + 6s, 2 mins rest

    Food Thursday social: As per Rupert's email this week Samantha has kindly volunteered to cook, so please let her know if you are staying for food.

    This Saturday 10th November Henley Lunch. Lovely Venue, Lovely Menu and Lovely People, I hope to see you there

    And on Sunday to mark Remembrance Sunday and the 100th anniversary of the end of World War 1, British Rowing is encouraging rowing clubs to take part in Blades of Remembrance. All club members are asked to mark the moment of silence at 11am by standing in front of the clubs, displaying club blades as a mark of respect for club members who have lost their lives to war and to say Thank You to all those who have served, sacrificed and changed the world. If you have blazers please wear these too.

    Good Morning Cygnets!

    I hope everyone had a good weekend .... It looks like clocks went backwards at the same time that Winter went forward .... Good Effort during the training sessions !!!!...keep warm....

    This week we have....

    Saturday
    4's head (12.00) Come along cheer, enjoy the fantastic BBL Catering, have a pint and give a hand if you can.

    Good Evening Cygnets!

    I hope everyone had a nice Weekend and is enjoying the Autumn colours.

    Saturday : Good work on the Tideway with an 8+ , 4x (first) and a 4+,4x in the second outing.
    Sunday: we had a 4x and 4+ and some (2 ;) ) participants in the BBL time trial, with good results.

    Thank you everyone who coxed, coached, helped with the LTR this weekend and BBL for organizing the time trial.

    Launch Drivers: 4's Head (3rd November and Vets Head (4th November) organisers are looking for people to drive various umpires and marshalls around in launches. Please let me know if you can help out.
